Before joining Roberts Academy in 2023, she served for eight years as head of GRACEPOINT School, a private, specialized Christian school for dyslexic learners in Marietta, Georgia. She also has served as elementary principal at the Wesleyan School in Atlanta, as well as director of curriculum and a fourth-grade teacher at Christ the King Catholic School in Atlanta.
Wood holds a Master of Arts in Education from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Millsaps College in Mississippi. She is professionally affiliated with the Georgia Independent School Association, Georgia Association of Private Schools for Exceptional Children, Atlanta Area Association of Independent Schools, and Atlanta Christian School Association. She has also served as a Southern Association of Colleges and Schools/Southern Association of Independent Schools accreditation team member.
Jamie Caraway Dickson is a seasoned marketing communications professional and considers herself to be Roberts Academy's biggest cheerleader. A 2005 graduate of Mercer University, Jamie spearheads initiatives to enhance the Academy's brand visibility and community engagement.
Roberts Academy is now accepting applications for enrollment. Classes will begin in August 2024.
