Lolita Moore

Ms. Moore holds a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She is certified in both general and special education for grades Pre-K through 5 and has an endorsement in Teaching Support and Coaching.

Her passion lies in teaching students to read and empowering them with the tools they need to become confident, skilled readers. This dedication has inspired her to complete extensive training, including Lexia LETRS, The Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham Plus and Morphology Plus from the Institute for Multi-Sensory Education, as well as the Orton-Gillingham Reading Classroom Educator Level. She is currently pursuing certification as an Orton-Gillingham Reading Associate and has also completed training in Orton-Gillingham Math.

In 2016, Ms. Moore was honored as Teacher of the Year at Gray Elementary in Jones County and recognized by 13 WMAZ as “My Teacher is Tops.” She has also secured multiple grants from Tri-County to support her classroom.

Outside of teaching, Ms. Moore enjoys reading books with surprising twists, shopping at Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and DeKalb Farmers Market, and watching Christmas movies. She’s also an avid fan of Monday Night Raw and loves attending live events.
