She holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Birmingham-Southern College and a Master of Education in Teaching and Learning from Francis Marion University, earned while serving as a Teach for America corps member in South Carolina.
During her three years with Teach for America, Caroline taught in an elementary classroom, where she developed a deep commitment to fostering student growth. She has since accumulated six years of teaching experience and was honored as “Teacher of the Year” in 2022.
Caroline is trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach and is passionate about using its multisensory teaching methods to help students build confidence and acquire essential skills in phonics, reading, and writing. She believes that every student should be known, loved, and celebrated—a philosophy she is excited to bring to the Roberts Academy.
A native of Macon, Georgia, Caroline enjoys spending her time outside of school with family and friends, walking her dog Jamie, reading, cooking, and staying active.
