No. While Literacy Quest is designed for struggling readers, campers do not need a diagnosis to attend. However, a Roberts Academy literacy screener is required.
After you submit your application and we receive the Confidential Teacher Evaluation form, our coordinators will review your application. We cannot begin the review process until we have received this form. Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive an email confirmation. We will then schedule an informal screening, after which we will notify you of your student's acceptance to Literacy Quest Camp.
Yes, all students must complete an informal screening assessment prior to Literacy Quest. Screenings will take place at Roberts Academy and will be completed in about 45 minutes.
Literacy Quest is a two week camp (10 days total).
We understand that summer is a busy season. However, it is most beneficial for campers to be able to attend both weeks. We cannot prorate for missed days.
