Our thorough application process ensures each child admitted to the Academy will have the opportunity to find success in our program.
A child with dyslexia may have other learning differences that can distract from the Academy’s focus on teaching children with dyslexia. The admissions committee will consider a child’s dyslexia and other learning differences during the admissions process.
- Admissions Tour: Schedule an in-person tour to see our mission in action, meet our faculty, and explore our innovative classrooms.
- Apply Online: Complete the online application through FACTS and pay the $100 non-refundable application fee.
- Application Review:Once all materials are received, we will review the application to determine if a shadow day is appropriate.
- Shadow Day: If invited, your child will attend a shadow day and complete an informal screening assessment in reading, writing, and spelling.
- Enrollment Offer: Families will receive an offer of enrollment form via FACTS. A $1,000 enrollment fee (applied toward tuition) is required to secure your child’s place.
Admission is based on the child’s inherent capabilities and ability to benefit from the dynamic educational programs of Roberts Academy. If the admissions committee determines that Roberts Academy is not the right fit for your child, we will provide you with feedback and recommendations for next steps.
