Students with dyslexia learn differently.

Roberts Academy will teach a comprehensive curriculum tailored for grades 2-5, integrating the evidence-backed Orton-Gillingham Approach to specifically support students with this learning difference.

Within our classrooms, this approach will engage students through a dynamic, multi-sensory learning experience, combining auditory, visual, tactile, and kinesthetic modalities to instill foundational skills in reading, writing, and spelling across the curriculum.

Your Child Might Qualify for the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship

The SB10 Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program helps parents afford enrolling their child in a specialized independent school that caters to their learning needs.

If your child has been enrolled in a public school in the past 12 months and has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 plan, they may be eligible for the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship.

Roberts Academy is a GOAL Scholarship School

In early 2025, Roberts Academy students can apply for the Georgia GOAL Scholarship!

The Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program provides tuition scholarships to children who want to attend independent K-12 schools. When applying to a participating school for receipt of a GOAL Scholarship, families must provide proof of eligibility.

To be eligible for a GOAL scholarship, a student must be a Georgia resident and have attended a Georgia public school for at least six weeks before getting the scholarship. Exceptions may be considered by Georgia GOAL based on specific criteria.
